Eligibility Requirements
HairTransplantCosts.com checks the qualifications of the doctors it recommends to make sure they perform "state of the art" hair restoration surgery. Only doctors that perform microscopically dissected follicular units are eligible for inclusion on this site.
Recommended Surgeons
The requirements for recommended surgeons are more stringent. Surgeons must meet these 3 criteria:
1. Surgeon performs microscopic dissection and follicular unit transplants
2. is a member of the The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS)
3. Surgeon’s practice is exclusively hair restoration surgery
Recommended surgeons have a link to their site on the right of every page and can post photos in our popular before and after section with a dedicated page for their own patients.
